This beautiful patient was suffering from low self esteem as she was embarrassed by her small teeth and gummy smile. To make matters worse, a childhood accident resulted in an emergency root canal and crown that eventually fractured and became infected. This tooth was removed and replaced with a dental implant as well as crown lengthening to reduce the gummy smile. Once healed, we placed a crown on the implant and porcelain veneers on her other teeth.
